FREDsense is excited to announce a partnership with Elemental Excelerator to accelerate the development and implementation of our COVID-19 wastewater testing solution. This partnership is through Elemental Excelerator’s Fast Note program which has been built to meet opportunities for the COVID-19 pandemic.
FREDsense is building a portable field system for the rapid identification and measurement of COVID-19 in wastewater without the need for labs. This funding is instrumental in supporting the early commercialization work for validating the technology approach.
Elemental Excelerator advances solutions to climate change and deploys them in the communities that need them the most. Each year, it finds 15-20 companies that best fit its mission and funds each company up to $1 million to improve systems that impact people’s lives: energy, mobility, water, agriculture, and beyond.
FREDsense has been successful in securing a large partnership opportunity with an Asia based wastewater service provider. Together, FREDsense and Elemental are working to meet the challenges introduced by the COVID-19 pandemic head-on and develop new tools and innovations for the water quality space.
