Alongside, TRS Group, our field-deployable FRED-PFAS system measured PFAS on-site at a major Western U.S. airport. 28 FRED-PFAS samples were taken and sent to a third-party lab. Data correlated closely to standard EPA methods.
Our field deployable, same day solution allowed TRS to check progress throughout the AFFF change out process, determine when trucks were truly “clean” and remove the potential economic burden of renting additional trucks and removing downtime.

The field-ready system, the FREDsense PFAS field kit, is designed to work in a variety of water matrixes, clean-up samples, and detect various PFAS compounds in real-time using our next-generation and proprietary biochemical system.
The system is selective to organic fluorine compounds (PFOA, PFOS, and other regulated PFAS compounds) with limited interferences and can be easily deployed in the field.
