Meet FRED-Chem.
Field-enabling standard chemistries to solve time-sensitive analysis challenges.
Cartridge-based chemistry:
Precalibrated testing…
using an automated liquid handling system
…to produce fast results!
on-site, with no complex analysis
Chemical Analysis Made Simple
Process control requires continuous monitoring of parameters using a simplified system. We have developed and demonstrated a liquid handling colorimetric and fluorescent mobile measurement device for various industry applications.
Our technology is pushing the limits of what field monitoring kits are capable of and offers our customers numerous benefits over competing systems. The cartridge-based system is rapid and simple to use, requires no lengthy preparation or complex analysis steps, and can be integrated in-line with a water stream for various parameters. With the ability to test complex samples for virtually any chemical of interest, the FREDsense Chemical system is the most flexible sensor suite developed to date.
Fast and Sensitive
Automated sampling of contaminants as low as parts per billion (ppb)
Customizable
Can be customized to measure multiple parameters of interest
Easy to Use
Single-step addition makes sampling and testing easy to perform
How it Works
Simply insert the cartridge, place the water sample and waste container into the detector, and start the measurement. The detector will automatically run the test. In as little as 5 minutes, results are reported for the target chemical concentration either through USB or wirelessly to your computer or mobile device.
Step 1
Insert a cartridge
Step 2
Fill and insert sample and waste bottles
Step 3
Wait for results to transmit
Step 4
View results on your computer or mobile device
In the future, our Chemical Platform will be adapted to interact directly with your body of water and function autonomously to perform measurements over a period of time, with no human interaction.
Simply place FRED in your body of water, establish a connection, and monitor from your desk!
